Missed Us at the Canberra CareersXpo?

There was plenty happening at the Soudens stand at this year’s Canberra CareersXpo. We spent the day chatting with students, job seekers and families about apprenticeships, life on the tools, and where a career in flooring can lead. We had a great time meeting everyone who stopped by, answering questions and giving people a better feel for what working in the flooring industry is really like. 

We also had Maggie with us, keeping an eye on things as our unofficial security for the day and happily greeting plenty of visitors along the way.

At Soudens, we’re passionate about developing the next generation of flooring professionals. Our apprentices get the opportunity to work on real jobs from day one, building practical skills alongside experienced tradespeople on both residential and commercial projects throughout Canberra. 

Hopefully, we also helped a few people see flooring as a career they might not have considered before, with plenty of opportunities to learn practical skills, work with a great team and build a career for the future.
